Sandals Grande St Lucian, for couples only, is 20 minutes from Castries, the capital of St Lucia. It is located on a peninsula with ocean front rooms of the Caribbean Ocean and beach front rooms facing Rodney Bay and the amazing St Lucia peaks of the rain forest. Sunsets over the peaks are breath taking. The resort was built by the Hyatt hotels in 1996 and sold to Sandals in 2001. Sandals just opened their Beach and Beach front Rondoval suites with Butlers and a private swimming pool. A Butler only restaurant is located on the Beach. The Irish pub was purchased in Ireland and reassembled near the main lobby.
